Meet The VagaBonneys

We are Sandi and Richard Bonney, and we both share a passion for traveling to exciting new places, as well as enjoying the experience of returning to some of our favorite destinations time and time again. Our travels have taken us from safaris in Africa, to islands in the Caribbean, as well as Hawaii, from New York, to London, Rome, and many other destinations. Our posts will be focused on our adventures in those locations and, hopefully, will give you some entertaining stories to enjoy. Except for our first post, How It Began, think of our blog as “bite-sized” stories. We might return to the same location several times to share several different anecdotes. While she is organized, Sandi’s brain can squirrel a bit (who’s doesn’t), which is why you will get smaller stories with more focused details rather than a longer all-encompassing story that might not be your cup of tea (said in her head with her best Eliza Doolittle voice). Sandi has a dry wit, so bear with her as she finds her footing in posting to the blog.

And speaking of bite-sized; we are also constantly on the quest for excellent dining experiences, whether we are enjoying a meal out at a restaurant or preparing something delicious at home. This is why we are also working on our side blog - DinersQuest. We aim to explore different food choices that excite our taste buds and help us learn about various cuisines while keeping it healthy and plant-based for Richard, and well, anything goes for Sandi. Yes, sometimes that is a longer quest than others, depending on the locale. Be sure to check back for the link to that site to see what’s on the menu.
